Bacteriology
Bacteriology analyzes biological fluids or tissues in order to isolate or characterize one or more bacteria that may be responsible for a pathology. Several techniques can be used depending on the research objective. One of them is the coloring of microorganisms to allow the classification of bacteria or mycobacteria detection. Also, in immunology, realizing an antibiogram allows the specific administration of the antibiotic that may be effective on the bacteria observed.
